PAGV president Muhammed Abdullah and PAGV trader Asif Khan met with Shepparton's Red Cross team convener Betty D'Amore to present the cheque on Thursday afternoon.
Mr Abdullah said the contributions were on behalf of 25 families and he expressed his deepest sympathies to those affected by the bushfires.
“We feel the loss those have experienced by the bushfires,” he said.
“This is our effort to show support.”
Ms D'Amore said the money would go towards three key areas.
“Grants for families that have lost their homes, on-going support for people who have their lives somewhat back to normal, and to support Red Cross workers in the field.
“I'm surprised such a small community raised so much money, this is really generous.”
Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District's manager Chris Hazelman said it was fantastic to see the Pakistani community make such a wonderful donation.
“Both the Pakistani and Afghani community came to use to find out the best way to donate to bushfire relief,” he said
“We suggested the Red Cross.
“Both communities have been extremely generous with their time and money."
