The ‘Songs at the Silos’ lineup will include Opera Australia vocalists Michael Lapina, Karen Van Spall, Adam Miller, Eleanor Blythman and a special performance from local talent Evie Scoble.
The event was created by the Rotary Club of Rochester and will be the first of its kind in the town.
Rotary member Heather Watson said the club was looking forward to the event.
“We are so excited to bring together such a talented group of artists to Rochester for this special evening,” she said.
“Songs at the Silos is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy live music in a unique setting ... We look forward to having opera in Rochester — this is going to be huge.”
The event is free for all to attend and will kick off at 6pm on Saturday, March 8 at the Rochester GrainCorp Silos.
It will be an alcohol-free, smoke-free and pet-free event to ensure a family-friendly environment.
The Scouts, Rochester Lions Club, Rotary Club of Bendigo and Mum & Me Coffee will be selling food and drinks on the night from 5:50pm.
All attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets so they can enjoy the show comfortably.
The event is proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Rochester, Rochester Business Network, Elmore, Lockington and Rochester Community Bank and the Campaspe Shire Flood Recovery Program.
