Due to an overwhelming response to the cancellation of the Christmas for Those Alone luncheon, the organisation’s committee has decided to hold an open meeting to discuss the situation.
Christmas for Those Alone president David Hession said the outpouring of support from the community had been incredible.
“We are going to give it one last try,” Mr Hession said.
“At this Wednesday’s meeting, we will try to explain the ins and outs of pulling it together.
“If you’re interested in helping out as a volunteer or getting involved as a committee member, please come along.”
On Wednesday, November 29, at 7.30pm, an open meeting will be held at the Shepparton Agricultural Society, 301 High St, Shepparton.
