Ms Robinson was appointed principal at Blighty almost four years ago, after she moved to Finley.
Now she has been given the opportunity to offer her services to her new home town.
"It was just a great opportunity that came up and I’m really happy to be here and leading the staff and students at Finley Public School," she said.
"What I learned being the principal in a small school is that schools really integral to the community.
"I like to build relationships with parents and community members, ex-students and with Finley High School."
Ms Robinson started with the school last week.
She said she hit the ground running as she's already familiar with the task ahead, and is confident she can be a great influence to the students and its culture.
"I’m really looking forward to building on the great culture that Finley public school already has so that every child can achieve their best."
Blighty was the first principal posting for Ms Robinson, who already had eight years of teaching experience under her belt when she joined the school.
She as taught students all over Australia including in the Northern Territory, Sydney, rural Queensland, and joined Blighty from Kuruah Primary School in NSW.
Marita Leetham is now acting principal at Blighty Public School.
