The design of the new playground that will be built in the north growth corridor on Warrumbungle Dve, Shepparton North, was decided by a only a few community votes.
There were three design options for the community to choose from.
The new playground, by Safe Play Australia, features double and single slides, cyclone swing, twirler, xylophone, balance trail, climbing equipment and accessible rocker.
Another playground will be built in Windsor Park Estate Reserve, Shepparton North, on the corner of Mozart Ave and Strauss Ave, off Channel Rd.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s infrastructure director Gary Randhawa was pleased that so many community members provided their feedback.
“I’d like to thank local residents for taking the time to contribute to the future of their community,” he said.
“We will be installing the chosen playgrounds within the coming months.”
