Other contracts noted at the council meeting on Tuesday, February 15, include nearly $300,000 for solar PV systems at various locations around Shepparton to be delivered by S & R Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd and a contract with Asplundh Tree Expert Australia to provide tree pruning around powerlines at a fixed rate.
Cleaves Earthmoving and Drainage Pty Ltd was awarded two contracts, $361,548 for the first stage of the Goulburn Valley Hwy shared path, between River Rd West and Sanctuary Dve, and $248,000 to construct footpaths at Hosie Rd, Shepparton East between Ackers Ct and Cook Dve; Channel Rd, Shepparton, between Da Vinci Dve and Archer St; and Bartlett St, Tatura, between Ross St and Martin St.
Solar PV systems at Tatura Showgrounds, A.D Children’s Centre, Nancy Vibert Children’s Centre, R.N. Kindergarten and GV U3A will be delivered by Green Home Green Planet Pty Ltd at a cost of $131,469.
Armsign Pty Ltd was awarded a $63,063 contract to design, supply and install community event signs at key entry locations in Mooroopna.
