The new area lets Lake Nagambie’s view shine, so the council encourages the community to share the view.
Strathbogie Shire Council announced it was running a photography campaign.
The campaign comes after the community’s event at Elloura beach, where residents, stakeholders and those involved in the project gathered to celebrate.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Laura Binks thanked the community and stakeholders for their efforts.
“The outcome is a true win for the community and will be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike,” she said.
The new pathway stretches along the lake’s southern edge from the township to Regatta Centre.
Cr Binks said this provided many opportunities to take on the beauty of Lake Nagambie.
“It is a real win for tourism in Strathbogie Shire as it will create an attractive and iconic walking trail for residents and visitors to enjoy year-round,” she said.
“The path will support township connectivity, economic development and safe, healthy, active living.”
