Mystic Fair team member Wilhelmina Handley said organisers were predicting strong numbers, and after changing the expo from a two-day event to a single day, it’s looking like it’ll be a busy one.
“Close to 700 people have already expressed their interest on our Facebook event page and the responses we’ve had on social media from Shepparton and surrounds have been wonderful,” Ms Handley said.
“We have different stallholders, different products and our healers are doing different modalities … nothing is ever exactly the same as the last expo.”
Ms Handley will also continue to shine a light on local businesses in the region through the expo, as per the last one.
“One of the things we’re big on, is offering spots for the local businesses,” Ms Handley said.
“I advertise for stallholders in Shepparton and surrounding areas hoping that local businesses will come forward and take an opportunity to propel their businesses forward in this expo.”
In the week leading up to the event, Ms Handley is also encouraging people to participate in their social media competition by liking their Facebook page, sharing their competition post on their event page and tagging five friends to go in the draw to win a $50 voucher to spend on the day.
The expo will showcase some of the region’s best healers and psychic readers alongside a variety of product stalls showcasing items such as natural health products, crystals and smudge sticks.
Free workshops and talks will also take place throughout the day, with various stallholders conducting reading and healing sessions.
To attend a session, people are encouraged to pre-book with the stallholders directly.
Further information about bookings and the stallholders can be found on the Mystic Fair Psychic Expo Shepparton Facebook event page.
The expo will run from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, April 23 at the McIntosh Centre on Thompson St, next to the Shepparton Showgrounds.
An entry cash fee of $5 will be required, with free entry for children under 12 years.
