Applications for round one of Murray River Council’s 2022-23 Community Grants Program are now open.
The competitive grant offers individual grants of up to $3000.
Murray River Council acting mayor Frank Crawley is encouraging locals to apply.
“The community grants program is in place to support our local groups and committees to further their ideas or projects,” Cr Crawley said.
“Whether it’s an event people are looking to get off the ground or a new piece of equipment for a facility; if it is of benefit to our local area I would encourage community groups to apply.”
These community grants are in addition to funds currently being provided to recurring, annual events and projects.
Further information as well as access to the online application form can be found on council’s website at www.murrayriver.nsw.gov.au/community/grants-and-funding
Applications will be assessed against a range of criteria, including demonstrated community need, sustainability, community benefit, inclusiveness and more.
Applications close Friday, September 16.
