Murchison remembers the fallen

Less than 100 people were in attendance on Thursday as Murchison marked Remembrance Day.

The low-key service was attended by several schools in the area, with speeches made before a minute’s silence was observed.

Murchison veteran Justin Appleton said it was an important day at an important spot.
