Last Friday’s Pop Up Outdoor Cinema movie night in the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens attracted an enthusiastic crowd of young and old.
The free event showing The Bad Guys was well received by all.

Mathoura’s Bra Fence is a major boost for cancer sufferers who are given fuel cards which cut the cost of travel for appointments and hospital stays.
While those who donate their bras to the project contribute a small amount of money to the project, other funds are raised through donations.
Like Barb Hussey’s fantastic rugs, Sean’s head shave for a funding boost and various fundraising ventures like the one to be held at the Pastoral Hotel on May 6.

Local parents will have a great opportunity to learn more about the before and after School Child care to be provided by the TheirCare organization next week.
The information session will be held in the school library on Tuesday, March 28 at 2.30pm.

Mathoura Football Netball Club has a busy weekend ahead of it.
Members will be ‘manning’ the gate at Moama’s Merool Caravan Park during the Southern 80 Ski Race.
The event is a major fundraiser for the group, so if you have spare time the club would probably welcome any help.
