An elderly Echuca man has been left without any form of transport after the theft of his car and mobility scooter this week.

Echuca police are investigating after a 92-year-old man’s mobility scooter and car were stolen from his Hare St, Echuca property.
Police said it was understood unknown people gained access to the man’s shed, stealing his Merits motorised scooter between 4pm on Monday, January 20 and 8.15am on Tuesday, January 21.
Police believe the people re-attended the property and stole the victim’s Mazda 2 sedan, with the Victorian registration 1AN6BO, on Wednesday, January 22, about 5.15am.
The car was driven through a gate as it left the property, causing damage to the front of the vehicle and the side view mirrors to detach.
The Mazda was last seen travelling west on Service St, Echuca immediately following the theft, police said.
Investigators have released images of the stolen Mazda in the hopes that someone knows where it is.
The scooter is valued at about $5000 and the Mazda $6000.
Detectives will also investigate whether an aggravated burglary on Hare St between 3am and 7.30am on January 22 is linked, police said.
