McLean Beach turns red for river walk

More than 160 people dressed in red to participate in the Kiss Goodbye to MS river walk on Sunday morning.

Participants followed the scenic Edward River path from McLean Beach to Willoughbyâ€™s Beach and back to raise funds and awareness for the chronic disease Multiple Sclerosis.

Red is the national colour for MS awareness, and walkers had no trouble coordinating the colour into their outfit.

Each participant also made a $5 donation to take part and they were treated to a barbecue when back at McLean Beach.
