Mature trees face unjust axe

Can you please explain just what is the danger?

I have read the eight year-old, two-page arborist report that the council is relying on, and it doesn’t identify any particular danger.

Our community deserves to be told the facts of why two 30 year-old trees have been approved for removal.

We also deserve our local newspaper to investigate and report on the facts.

I live in End Street and the only danger I can see is the continued narrow-minded destruction of our town’s mature shade trees.
