We are fortunate to call Australia home and live in peace and harmony in such a great part of the world.
A special part of the day’s proceedings will be the presentation of the Young Australia Day Citizen Award to local teenager, Katelyn Eddy.
Fourteen year-old Katelyn is the classic example of the child we would all like to have – well-mannered, well-behaved, kind and helpful.
She also shows initiative – many of you may remember that she entered a competition with a view to beautifying the school and surrounds.
She was successful, receiving $10,000 for her planned project, which will provide a lasting reminder of her efforts.

Division 3 played against Rich River, with the clash resulting in a draw.
The Division 4 clash between Mathoura and Echuca was abandoned through insufficient players.
The Club’s Men’s and ladies’ 25Up Singles Championships saw Beryl Murray claim the ladies' championship from H Holzer and Troy Mansbridge took the men’s championship ahead of Peter Pangrazio. Congratulations to the winners.
With more club games still to be played and a desperate need for more Division 4 players, the club is urging everyone to check out things in the office each time they visit.
