Every student was acknowledged with a certificate for successfully completing their current year of education, and two awards were then presented for each year level.
Mathoura PS would like to acknowledge the following award winners:
Kindergarten: Academic Excellence — Mya Vesty; Outstanding Effort and Improvement Award — Kohen McIntosh.
Year 1: Academic Excellence — Elka Lilford; Outstanding Effort and Improvement Award — Stella Hansen.
Year 2: Academic Excellence — Rosie Celli; Outstanding Effort and Improvement Award — Nevaeh Wachter.
Year 3: Academic Excellence — Huxley Lilford; Outstanding Effort and Improvement Award — Connor Hadley.
Year 4: Academic Excellence — Katelyn Eddy; Outstanding Effort and Improvement Award — Khoa Unwin; Year 4 Director's Award — Bonnie Hullah.
Year 5: Academic Excellence — Macie Celli; Outstanding Effort and Achievement — Georgie Taylor.
Year 6: Class Awards for Outstanding Effort and Achievement in Maths — Kate Krispyn; Outstanding Effort and Achievement in History and Mathematics — Ethan Hadley; Outstanding Effort and Achievement in English — Skye Krisyn.
Also presented on the evening were three art awards: Kinder-1/2 — Jimmy Hullah; 3/4 — Millah O'Callaghan; 5/6 — Chad Ward.
The school also announced Matilda Eddy as the 2022 Year 6 Dux. The School Citizenship Award was presented to Gemma Van Zutphen; and the Sportsperson Award was presented to Matilda Eddy.
Following the awards presentation, the 2023 school captains were announced as Macie Celli and Jobe Unwin.
