It told how the project was established to honour the memory of the popular local, the late Wendy Nikolovski who lost her life to cancer; and to raise funds to assist other cancer suffers.

Mathoura Football Netball Club will host its Indigenous Round and Sponsors’ Day next weekend.
Players will wear special indigenous design jumpers for their game against Picola and these will be auctioned after the game.
Sponsors will be special guests throughout the afternoon, and pizzas will be available from 3pm.
The indigenous jumpers will be auctioned from 6pm.
Past and present indigenous players will also be special guests on the day

Mathoura Football Netball Club will wind up season 2022 on August 6 with a major event.
It will involve a dinner and the drawing of the club’s major fundraiser, the $3000 draw.
Special guests for the evening will be former Collingwood and Carlton greats, Dane Swan and Anthony Koutoufides, who are sure to have some great stories to tell.
It’s sure to be a good night!
