A man has been charged following a non-fatal shooting at Leitchville on Sunday, February 16.
Victoria Police announced detectives from the Armed Crime Squad charged the man on the afternoon of Monday, February 17.
Investigators will allege a Gunbower man, 65, was shot following a dispute outside a property near Box Bridge about 2.40pm on Sunday.
An associate took the man to hospital before he was airlifted to The Alfred, Melbourne, where he was in a serious but stable condition on Monday.
A Leitchville man, 65, was arrested at the scene.
He was interviewed by investigators on Monday and subsequently charged with intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, reckless conduct endanger life and non-prohibited person use category A/B longarm without a licence.
He was remanded to appear at Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 28.
Police believe the parties involved are known to each other.
