And it has just announced a stellar cast of 40, who will be bringing the timeless magic of ABBA to audiences in May.
Leading the pack is Alisha Beavis as the charismatic and independent Donna, with Gen McLindon starring as her determined and spirited daughter Sophie.
As the mother and daughter prepare for Sophie’s wedding on a sun-kissed Greek island, the young bride-to-be dreams of her father walking her down the aisle.
But there is a problem — she doesn’t know who he is.
After reading her mother’s diary, Sophie invites three men (and potential dads) from Donna’s past — Sam, Harry, and Bill — brought to life by Matt McLindon, Darcy Elliott, and Gerard Oman respectively.
Sophie’s fiancé Sky will be played by Dillon Shelley, while Honni Goulding and Ivy Jensen step into the heels of Donna’s hilarious best friends and fellow Dynamos, Rosie and Tanya.
Xavier McLindon and Parker Goulding star as Sky’s mates, Pepper and Eddie, and Anna McLindon and Indra Hubble round out the wedding party as Sophie’s besties Ali and Lisa, along with Mark Presland presiding over the marriage as Father Alexandrios.

Throw in a spectacular ensemble and 12-member dance troupe, and audiences are expected to be shouting, “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!”.
Co-directors Lesley Robins and Mark Thomson, musical director Chris McDonald from Dillmac and choreographer Lisa Styles of Suzanne’s School of Dance cannot wait to get started after an intense week of auditions.
“Almost 70 people tried out — probably the largest turnout we’ve had since Phantom of the Opera in 2018,” Mr Thomson said.
“We were blown away by the talent. The standard was incredibly high, which made casting both exciting and challenging.
“We’re thrilled with our amazing cast and can’t wait to see them shine.”
The production team is looking forward to working with the cast and crew, who stem from Echuca-Moama, Kyabram, Rochester, Shepparton, Benalla and further afield, to bring the show to life.
Stay in the loop and follow EMTC on Facebook and Instagram for updates, behind-the-scenes photos, and videos from rehearsals.
Mamma Mia! opens at the Echuca Paramount on Friday, May 16, followed by six more performances on May 17 to 18 and May 23 and 24.
Tickets go on sale in March and will be available on the Echuca Paramount website.
