“Bec has been an active member of the 14 years while her children were educated at Lowesdale Public School,” P & C treasurer Ailsa McDonald said.
“She served numerous committee positions during her time.
“An accomplished artist, Bec gave generously to the school community with painting the fabulous presentation night playsets, and the Rotary Federation Australia Day Parade floats that Lowesdale Public School is renowned for.
“Bec also used her artistic skills around the school grounds, most recently with commemorative wall art in the reading garden dedicated to the Year 6 class that graduated in 2024.”
During her time, Bec was the primary driver for establishing a mum’s group. She credits that group with supporting the rural mums in the Lowesdale area, playing a vital role for their mental health.
“Bec was a wonderful advocate for rural families and the school. She was always involved and embedded in every activity the P&C undertook, of which there were many.
“Some recent highlights include the Variety Bash visit and the Biggest Morning Tea.
“As the face of the Lowesdale PC, Bec would always be relied upon to deliver a genuine and thoughtful speech suitable to the occasion.”
