It is full of goodies to suit the entire family, and Lions members will be in the foyer of Ritchie’s IGA selling raffle tickets several days a week.
In the stocking are toys, tools, board games, gardening equipment, Christmas items, activity sets, craft items and much more.
The total value of the stocking is more than $500.
The items have been purchased by the Lions Club from local businesses, as a way of supporting those businesses in the lead up to the festive season.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the Deniliquin Lions Club’s local projects and charities.
Ticket sales started last week, and Lion Geoff Riley said the response has already been fantastic.
“People have been so generous in their support of the raffle, as they know the Lions Club give to all the local charities,” he said.
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
They are on sale right up until the draw, which will be in mid-December.
The Lions Christmas raffle is back and full of goodies for the whole family.
