One teaching principal and one classroom leader have visiting support from the mobile art van and library van.
An education support officer also supplements classroom programs and the school provides reading and writing workshops, which give the children the freedom to express and explore their lives.
Each teacher is responsible for all children, while each child shares a collective responsibility for their school mates.
From Foundation to Year 6, Broken Creek students, who each get an iPad, are provided with every opportunity to attain their highest achievements in the core subjects of literacy and numeracy, with the small school size providing the flexibility needed to best meet each child’s personal needs.

The team at the school lead by example, demonstrating the qualities and values to create a healthy and happy school community.
The school now runs school-wide positive behaviour support where school expectations are explicitly taught to all students and rewards are given when these expectations are met.
Broken Creek staff and students live the motto of "big, happy family" and this shows in the classroom as well as the yard.
