Fresh faces are all around at Lancaster, with a new-look squad led by new coach Hannah Rose.
Only a handful of players have returned from last year, but Rose said it was an opportunity to build something new at the club.
“I’m feeling pretty positive. We haven’t gotten into the full swing of training yet, and I’m not sure where we sit, but we’ve definitely got some strong players,” she said.
“We’re still a young team, but we’ve got a bit of depth, and a few of the girls have returned from last year.
“They’ve got good netballing knowledge and already have a bit of chemistry with each other, so I’m excited to see where we end up.”
After an up-and-down season with no finals netball last year, Rose said she was aiming to be competitive and hopefully successful, but ultimately was hoping that the girls would just enjoy the upcoming season.
“We’re really happy with the quality of players and culture at the moment,” she said.
“It would be fantastic if a lot of the players stuck around so we can really build something here.”
