The committee anticipates a dynamic and productive year ahead.
Its mission is to provide a strategic direction for the town, with support and co-ordination of Kyabram projects.
After rebranding its online presence, the committee’s Facebook page is now titled ‘Kyabram Development Group’. In addition, the committee will soon be launching an Instagram page to reach more of the community.
The committee is working on replacing town signage and will also focus on obtaining a grant to help fund a new regional park project.
The Kyabram dog park program was the main focus of a recent committee meeting, with council manager of active communities Kerrie Hawkes and council project manager Mick Mahady in attendance.
The location for the dog park is still to be finalised; however, a steering group has been appointed, funds are allocated and the committee is seeking direct community input for the design elements of the space.
Local businesses are also encouraged to register for alerts on the public tender portal for this project via council’s website.
