Dookie United will welcome Murchison-Toolamba on Saturday, with the Tanya Caruana-coached side out to grab its fourth-straight win to start the season.
United’s coach said her side would be expecting the Grasshoppers to play a good zone defence and her outfit would look to bring the pressure this weekend.
‘‘We know what to expect from Murch, they play a good zone-orientated game style,’’ Caruana said.
‘‘We’ll look to put pressure on them in the midcourt and hopefully get some turnovers, our game style won’t change when we line-up on Saturday.
‘‘But our team won’t be finalised until later on in the week, but we’ll be without one of our defenders in Georgia (Caruana), but Belinda Rankin will come back into the side.
‘‘This weekend should be a good indication and a real heads up to how our season might pan out.’’
Murchison-Toolamba coach Alice Cunningham is wary of the tight contests that Dookie has traversed in the opening three rounds of action.
‘‘Since they have been in tight matches in the first three rounds, they will have tempo on their side,’’ Cunningham said.
‘‘We’ve been able to gain some momentum off the win against Violet Town last weekend, so hopefully that flows into this round against Dookie.’’
Across the league, Lancaster and Longwood will clash heads at an earlier time on Saturday, with the A-grade starting at 1.30pm.
Merrigum welcomes Stanhope to the kennel, with both sides coming off comprehensive wins last weekend.
Nagambie will look to keep up its return to form after its dominant win against Avenel, when it hosts Girgarre.
Tallygaroopna returns to the court this weekend from two weeks off and will welcome struggling Ardmona.
Violet Town is hoping it can bounce back from its loss against Murchison-Toolamba in round three when it challenges Undera.
