This year - the fourth year for the event - 40 riders participated.
Another 15 patrons travelled with them on the Farmers Arms Hotel courtesy bus as they made their way to Finley, Berrigan, Barooga and back to Tocumwal.
More than $7000 was raised for Tocumwal Can Assist, an incredible amount for such a good cause.
These funds remain in our community and provide important support to locals undergoing cancer treatment.
“We sold out of egg and bacon rolls before departure, the courtesy bus was pretty well full and there was standing room only when we arrived at the Farmers Arms Hotel in Toc,” event committee member Garry ‘Garbo’ Haberfield said.
“Everything went to plan.
“All seemed to go well, barring me getting a flat tire, but it was a really great event.
“We had three riders from Jerilderie and another three from Shepparton.”
The highest fundraiser award went to ‘Garbo’, followed by Geoff Terry and then the boys from Haynes Butchery.
The best bike prize was awarded to Mark Prentice.
The Can Assist committee thank ‘Garbo’ and Annie Haberfield for their continued efforts in organising the event.
They also give a big thank you to all local businesses and individuals who made donations and to Farmers Arms Hotel for their sponsorship and help on the day.
This is a great community event which will benefit many people in our area.
