A driver has died after the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree on Mitchell Rd, between Kialla West and Kialla, on Sunday, January 22.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, which is believed to have happened around 1.50pm.
Emergency services attended the scene, but the driver could not be revived.
Police are investigating whether the driver experienced a medical episode before the crash.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
Multiple roads were closed in the area, including at the intersection of Mitchell Rd and the Goulburn Valley Hwy in Kialla West and at Central Kialla Rd in Kialla.
Other road diversions were in place at the intersection of River and Archer Rds, and on Archer Rd south of the intersection with Mitchell Rd.
