The walk begins at 10.30am from Echuca-Moama Uniting Church, where participants will set off down Hare St to visit Christ Church Anglican and St Mary’s Catholic Church.
Uniting Church reverend and event co-ordinator Michele Lees said the walk was based on the 14 Stations of the Cross, which depict Jesus’ crucifixion.

Readings from the Stations will be given at each church, with a final reflection given back at the Uniting Church.
“The day includes readings, and also times of singing and prayers,” Rev Lees said.
“We carry a cross from the beginning through to the end, to mimic the journey of Jesus through the streets.”
Participants will be invited to enjoy a morning tea with hot cross buns at the Uniting Church, where the walk will end after about one hour.
A booklet of readings, songs and prayers will be provided to walkers, and those who would prefer to drive can meet the group at each church.
Rev Lees said it was a good opportunity to learn more about Good Friday’s meaning and socialise with new faces.
“It’s a really good time of what we call fellowship, as is the morning tea,” she said.
Everyone is welcome to join the walk, leaving from 115-117 Hare St, Echuca at 10.30am.
