'Across The Arts (ATA) Yarrawonga Mulwala is very excited to be bringing Jelena to our community. ATA is a community organisation run by volunteers who are passionate about making arts and culture accessible for the local community.
ATA is very grateful for the support from ClubMulwala, Moira Shire Council and Rich Glen which has enabled ATA to bring speakers of the calibre of Jelena Dokic to our community.
Jelena will appear at ClubMulwala on Saturday, February 15 (dinner) and Sunday, February 16 (lunch).
The sold out events will mean 130 guests at each event, totalling 260 and there will be a book signing.
Jelena’s highest ranking as a tennis player was world No. 4, in August 2002. She won WTA Tour events on all surfaces during her career.
The Croation born, 41-year-old, 1.76cm tall champion will speak and there will be a question and answer segment.
ATA supports other local organisations and promote a variety of artistic endeavours. You can help ATA continue this work by becoming an ATA member ($15 pp or $30 per organisation), or if you would like to become more involved, more committee persons are being sought.
If you are interested in becoming a member or interested in joining the committee, email yarrawongaartscouncil@gmail.com As a member you will receive priority notification for events.
