The couple were honoured at a barbecue lunch for family and friends held early in March, ahead of their official 60th anniversary on March 20.
They were married at Mitta Mitta Union Church on March 20, 1965.
John originally moved to Woodvale, Mayrung with his parents and family in 1962 and Lorraine joined him on the family property when they were married.
The couple still farm at the same family property today, where they primarily raise Braford beef cattle.
John and Lorraine have three children - Ashley, Mark and Tania.
They also have 10 grandchildren - Joshua, Rachel, Rebekah, Hannah, Jesse, Tahlee, Danae, Dominique, Olivia and Lani - and two great-grandchildren named Edward and Samuel.
At their anniversary celebrations, they were presented with letters and certificates of congratulations from state and federal parliamentarians, the NSW Premier and Governor of NSW, the Australian Prime Minister, the Governor General and King Charles.
