The talented quick bowlers wound back the clock as they wreaked havoc on Euroa's batting line-up at Memorial Oval.
They collected eight wickets between them as they helped the Jets skittle the Magpies for 103 runs in the Haisman Shield round nine encounter.
Josh (5-26) led the way with an impressive spell of bowling and finished the day with a five-wicket haul from nine overs.
Trent provided valuable support and chimed in with 3-18.
Reigning Lightfoot medallist Joel Brett chipped in with 1-22, as Euroa quickly lost seven wickets for 34 runs.
Meanwhile, Harvey Walker (1-18) closed Euroa's innings with the dismissal of top-scorer Nick Hill (24 runs).
Northerners made light work of the run chase to pull off a thumping six-wicket victory in the 19th over.
Jets’ opener Ben Pedretti departed for seven, which brought in Brett to join his brother Mitch at the crease.
Brett got his eye in before Sunday's GVBBL final by smoking five over the rope and two boundaries in his eye-catching 44-run knock off 33 deliveries.
The duo combined for 59 runs before Mitch exited for a run-a-ball knock of 27.
Despite the Jets losing a quick flurry of wickets (3-9), they were able to cruise to victory with Andrew Boyington (20 not out) and Tim Belford the not-out batsmen.
Euroa's Andrew Crosbie (3-26) was the pick of the home side's bowlers.
The victory allowed Northerners to jump above Euroa on the table into eighth spot.
Looking ahead to next week, Euroa has the bye, while Northerners welcome reigning premier Numurkah to the Hangar.
THE GAME
Northerners 4-105 (Joel Brett 44, Mitch Brett 27, Andrew Crosbie 3-26) d Euroa 103 (Nick Hill 24, Josh Sidebottom 5-26, Trent Sidebottom 3-18)
STAR PLAYER
Josh Sidebottom (Northerners): The Jets’ opening quick kick-started the party with the first wicket of match on his way to impressive figures of 5-26. It was Sidebottom's best performance of the year with the ball, which could spell ominous warning signs for opposition players.
