The recently held Master Builder Awards at Albury's Commercial Club, was a night of overwhelming joy and pride for the Hadar family.
Hadar business development manager Jess Murfitt and Matt Leeworthy accepted the awards on Friday night and said it was such an incredibly humbling experience to receive six awards in the evening, taking out the record for one night.
“To be sitting amongst our industry peers and recognised as leaders in our field it was so humbling, we are just so grateful,” Ms Murfitt said.
“We have experienced a lot of growth over the past five years and our team truly works so hard and cares about what they do.
“Those awards are a credit to the amazing team we have,” she said.

Demonstrating their incredible diversity from first homes to custom homes Hadar scored awards in the following categories: Contract Homes - Under $400,000, Contract Homes - $400,000 - $500,000, Contract Homes - $700,000 - $800,000, Contract Homes - $800,000 - $900,000, Display Homes - $600,000 - $800,000, 3 to 5 Dwellings.
Before founding Hadar in 1995, director Rick Leeworthy honed his skills as a dedicated plumber unblocking sewers and re-washering taps, laying the foundation for his future success in the building industry.
Rick saw a gap in the market for a builder to do right by their clients and Hadar (an old Hebrew word for honour) was born.
