Cross-town rivals will go head-to-head this weekend when Shepparton United takes on the Shepparton Swans in the Goulburn Valley League 17-and-under netball grand final.
The Swans booked a date with the Demons after they swept aside Echuca by seven goals in Sunday's preliminary final at Deakin Reserve.
A fast start from the Swans helped build a buffer over the Murray Bombers, before holding off the reigning premiers to seal a spot in the premiership decider.Â
The grand final will be a replay of the nail-biting second semi-final, where the Demons saluted by one goal against the Swans.
It will be a huge task for the Swans in taking down the undefeated United outfit, but the 48-47 semi-final clash is certain to give the Swans confidence.
As for United, it will be gunning for redemption after losing last year's 17-and-under grand final to Echuca.
