After three years of cancellations, setbacks and lockdowns, GV Woodworkers will finally hold its 30th Woodshow this October.
The event will feature an awards ceremony, as well as celebrations of the years of support for the local community and recognition of people who founded the club and kept it running across more than 30 years.
Woodworkers president Emily Slaughter said the awards night would be “a bigger and better show than we’ve ever put on”, with the Len Taylor Excellence Award also to be announced.
“The woodshow and the awards night are deeply important events for our club,” Ms Slaughter said.
The GV Woodworkers 30th Annual Woodshow will be held on October 1 and 2 from 9:30am to 4pm, with the awards night to be held on October 1 at the Shepparton Golf Club from 6:30pm.
Speeches and presentations will begin about 7pm.
