GV Health says goodbye to Carmel Johnson

The GV Health auxiliary ladies said goodbye to Carmel Johnson on Monday, December 6, with a Christmas lunch at the Royal Mail Hotel in Mooroopna.

After 30 years of running hospital fundraisers, renowned Shepparton networker Carmel Johnson is moving to the Shepparton Art Museum as head of development.

“After all those years, she has been the foundation of Goulburn Valley Health,” auxiliary secretary Lolene James said.

Ms Johnson has run multiple fundraising projects over the past 30 years, and will apply these skills at SAM.

‘‘I am very sad to be leaving Goulburn Valley Health after three decades of involvement, but I really believe SAM will be a game-changer for Shepparton,’’ she said.
