A search of the Corio St house uncovered a sawn-off shotgun, two rifles and an allegedly stolen Holden Club Sport and Suzuki Swift.
A quantity of alleged drugs, more than $17,000 in cash and items police believed to be proceeds of crime were also seized.
The Bomb Response Unit was also called in after suspected fireworks and a device was found.
The area was cordoned off, and the area was deemed safe after the items were taken away by the unit.
Police had gone to the house at 11.10am to do a firearms prohibition order search.
Four men and a woman at the property were arrested and have been interviewed.
A 24-year-old Shepparton man has been charged with three counts of possessing firearms while subject to a firearms prohibition order, two counts of possessing a handgun, three counts of possessing unregistered firearms in an unsecured manner, and possessing a traffickable quantity of firearms.
He was also charged with three counts of possessing prohibited weapons, possessing methamphetamines, possessing ammunition, possessing an explosive substance (fireworks), and possessing the proceeds of crime.
A 32-year-old Mildura man has been charged with theft of a vehicle, two counts of possessing prescription medication, three counts of possessing the proceeds of crime, and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
The pair will both appear before Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 9.

He has been bailed to appear before Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on April 29.
A Shepparton man and woman, both aged 31, were interviewed about the alleged theft of a vehicle.
The pair have been released and are expected to be charged on summons.
