All students were evacuated just before 3pm following a fire alarm, however after about half an hour firefighters gave the all clear.
GSSC operations principal Megan Michalaidis said firefighters had investigated following an alarm and determined there was no fire or danger to students.
She said she had alerted families that students were safe as soon as possible.
“We had an alarm go off, so we followed procedure and evacuated the students and immediately alerted parents,” she said.
Students were taken to the school’s evacuation point on the school oval until given the all clear to return and continue their classes.
