Goulburn Valley will play host to three big name authors over the course of five days and at four different locations.

Craig Silvey, author of Jasper Jones and Honeybee, will be at the Shepparton Library on Friday, October 14 at 6:30pm to celebrate the publication of his latest book Runt.
At the event, Mr Silvey will share his experience as a writer as well as participate in a Q & A session.
The book Runt is about an introverted girl by the name of Annie Shearer who adopts a stray dog named Runt.
It’s a tale of the two’s journey from obscurity to the streets of London and the capital’s famous dog shows.
On Sunday, October 16, Shepparton Library will play host to another author — Chris Hammer, bestselling author of Scrublands and Treasure & Dirt, will be visiting as part of his tour to promote his most recent book The Tilt.
Well-known throughout Australia as a crime fiction author, Mr Hammer has won the UK Crime Writers Association John Creasy Award for a debut crime novel in 2019 for his book Scrublands.
As for his book Treasure & Dirt, according to the Weekend Australia it showed Mr Hammer to be in the platinum class of Australian detective writers.
The Tilt, Mr Hammer’s latest literary creation, will see the return of homicide detectives Nell Buchanan and Ivan Lucic who have to solve a cold case in Nell’s hometown.
At the Cobram, Nagambie and Yarrawonga libraries, author Rush Morgan will be promoting her book The Whitworth Mysteries, a collection of small crime stories set in the fictitious town of Whitworth along the Murray River.
Ruth’s visits include: Cobram Library on Tuesday, October 18 at 2pm, Nagambie Library on Tuesday, October 18 at 6.30pm and Yarrawonga Library on Monday, October 17 at 1pm.
