The Blues battled through a nervous run chase and defeated reigning premier Rochester by three wickets with six balls remaining.
Daniel Coombs and Darin Ohlsen were the heroes for Tongala, as the Blues clawed down Rochester's 181 with three wickets in hand.
Coombs scored a steady 45 off 76 deliveries and grabbed 2-46, while opening batsman Ohlsen top-scored with 56.
For Rochester, Sean Williams (71) showcased his skill with the bat, while teammate Angus Martin (51) notched up a half-century as well.
Saturday's loss leaves the reigning premier languishing outside the top four with two losses.
● A superb century from Ben Fulford guided Echuca to its first win of the season.
Echuca stunned previously undefeated Kyabram Fire Brigade by 83 runs, with Fulford's cracking 105 off 117 deliveries the pillar of the innings.
However, Flames opener Daniel Kent matched Fulford's efforts with a dazzling 114 that included 17 fours and a six.
Kent found little support from his teammates in the run chase, as the Flames were dismissed for 175, thanks to Echuca's Charlie Hicks (3-32).
● Cooma remains undefeated atop the ladder after another comprehensive victory against Moama.
The Two Blues posted 7-226 batting first, as captain Michael Hill whacked a mesmerising 93 off 120 deliveries.
Moama's top four batsmen all reached double figures, but they could not overcome the might of Cooma's bowling stocks, as Drew Barrett (4-38) and Xavier Fawcett (3-33) caused headaches.
Kirk Teasdale (40 not out) and Jordan McGregor (41) were Moama's best with the willow in the 9-174 reply.
● Lastly, Nathan Neville's 105 gifted Bamawm-Lockington United its first win of the season.
Neville smacked a remarkable 16 boundaries as United posted 5-232 batting first.
In reply, South was able to come close to the total, but ultimately ran out of overs, left stranded at 7-212.
