GOTAFE Information Technology and Cyber Security students are providing Shepparton locals with free access to technology support through the GOHelp initiative.
GOHelp is a technology support and tutoring service that not only assists community members with their technology needs, it also gives students the opportunity to implement their learnings and communicate with clients.
Certificate three in information and technology student Alistair Wall said he enjoyed being part of the student-led initiative.
“GOHelp aids in your learning by supporting time management, client management through ticketing systems, enhancing computer knowledge and improving communication skills,” he said.
“These experiences prepare you for the real world by teaching you how to efficiently handle tasks, interact with clients, troubleshoot technical issues and effectively communicate in professional settings.”
GOHelp predominately runs out of GOTAFE’s Fryers St campus in Shepparton, with anyone being able to walk in and receive the free help.
