Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE’s mobile campus is in Tatura, offering the community education and training for job upskilling and career counselling.
GOTAFE attraction and engagement acting executive director Cassia Colbeck said the service would provide advice and assistance to the community and industry stakeholders facing social and economic challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“GOTAFE is committed to playing a lead role in supporting Tatura in responding to these challenges,” she said.
“At its heart, the mobile campus works to bridge the gap between our communities and deliver critical employment and education services, regardless of location, access and financial barriers.”
The mobile campus is parked on the corner of Casey and Hogan streets in Tatura until May 13.
Thirty-minute workshops will run at 10am and 2pm to help jobseekers increase their job prospects and explore study options.
Workshops include resume writing, addressing the key selection criteria, job interviews and Free TAFE and Job Trainer information sessions.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to get personal advice from career advisors.
