The lunches are held every Tuesday from noon to 12.30pm at the Uniting Church hall on the corner of Pakenham and Hare Sts in Echuca.
Church member Yvonne Pearce said the lunches were a great place to socialise.
“It is for people who are living alone or feeling lonely and wanting some company and to enjoy a good meal,” she said.
“The atmosphere is great, lots of chatting and laughing, and a big part of it is the company.
“It is open to anyone who would like to come along.”
Everything, from the menu to the shopping, preparation and serving of the meals, is done by a group of volunteers.
The volunteer group is currently on the lookout for more helping hands.
Volunteers gather at the hall from 10am and work in a group of four to prepare and serve the meals before finishing around 12.30pm.
A Makers Market, Repair Cafe and Pre-Loved Books event is also coming up at the church on Saturday, February 8, which will include a garage sale.
Ms Pearce said the church was inviting stallholders who made or grew goods to the event, which happens every second Saturday.
