When we understand that we are chosen, loved and forgiven by God it affects the way we present ourselves to Him.
There is no need to carry guilt or shame over our past mistakes.
We can put our past behind us and step into a new future with Jesus.
We are His workers, we are co-labourers with Him, to do His will on the Earth.
Our lives are also a letter to the world, and so everything we do and say is read by the people around us.
As Christians, we are to be role models in order that others come to faith by the example we set.
God’s word is to be a lamp that guides our feet, so it’s important to read and meditate on God’s Word daily.
To rightly divide God’s Word means to accurately interpret and apply scripture, be able to distinguish between different teachings and genres and contexts, and be able to present the truth clearly and faithfully.
The Holy Spirit within us also helps us to rightly divide the word because His role is to illuminate the Word to give us fresh revelation.
God’s truth is more valuable than diamonds because God’s truth leads us to freedom in every area of our life.
