Deniliquin Police will host the NSW Police Force recruitment branch next week for an information session.
It will be held at the Deniliquin Police Station in Charlotte St, Deniliquin on Thursday, from 2pm.
The aim of the session is to provide a “try before you buy” insight into the application process and physical capacity testing day.
The session will cover current requirements to join, expectations and what happens once you have joined.
There will also be a Q&A session afterwards, conducted by qualified NSW Police physical training instructors.
Murray River Police District Chief Inspector Jy Brown encouraged anyone who has ever had an interest in joining the police to come along.
“It’s a very exciting time to join the New South Wales Police Force,” he said.
“We’ve just seen the appointment of the first female Commissioner in New South Wales, Karen Webb, and moving forward the next five years look very positive.”
Those wishing to attend are asked to register their interest with the Deniliquin Police Station.
Drop into the station or call 5881 9299 to provide your details.
