From park runs and dance classes to yoga by the river, the Moira Shire Council is partnering with NCN Health and Yarrawonga Health to once again deliver its Move Moira program.
Arriving off the back of its successful campaign last year, the program will feature events in each of Cobram, Numurkah, Nathalia and Yarrawonga.
Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson said the Move Moira program extends beyond just exercise to bringing the community together.
There'll be something for everyone in this year's program of events.

“After the fantastic response to Move Moira in 2024, we’re excited to bring it back with even more diverse activities this year,” Dr Emonson said.
“With activities ranging from gentle chair fitness to energetic dance classes and from croquet to karate, we’re showcasing the incredible variety of opportunities available right here in our region.”
The Move Moira program features:
Free community celebration events in each major town
School holiday programs for children and families
Dedicated seniors' activities and social groups
Special events including the Centenary Easter Tournament
Close to home, there’ll be everything from Rhyme & Story Time at the Cobram Library to Muay Thai classes hosted by SDK Martial Arts at the Cobram Showgrounds.
NCN Health Manager of Health Promotion and Community Development, Jenny Burrows, said the Move Moira - Active April Campaign is all about encouraging movement in whatever way is enjoyable for you, and being active in the community.
“Everyone is encouraged to find out what is available in our local community and maybe try something new,” she said.
“The school holidays are full of fun, free, local activities across the Shire, so take a look at the calendar and plan how you will be active this April.”
