One of three campdrafts in the Mansfield Shire, the event, which attracts competitors from across Victoria and interstate, will run from Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13.
The surge of entries is a testament to the growing popularity of the horse sport.
The weekend will commence with the Ladies event, followed by the new Top Cut Out feature event on Friday evening, with a further eight events across Saturday and Sunday.
Club secretary Lisa Smith emphasised the vital role of community support in bringing this beloved event to life.
“Thanks to the generous support of Mitchell Shire Council’s Outlining Communities Infrastructure Fund, we have received a grant to enhance the quality of our arena surface,” Ms Smith said.
“This upgrade will not only improve the experience for all competitors, but will make it easier for us to prepare our arena for future events.
“We’d like to thank Fox Pastoral and Fox Dairies for coming on board as our major cattle donors.
“Events like this just aren’t possible without the support from our sponsors, including the Lovick Family, G Mack Contracting, Birksey’s Trucking and Farming, Dindi Civil Contracting, Embling Rural, Skillbuilt Sheds, Koala Cherries, Bonkonia Beef and 888 Electrical Solutions. Prizes over the weekend have been kindly donated by Jordan and Marnie Arbuthnot, Johnson’s Natural Formula, Salon No. 4 Mansfield, 4Cyte, Simpsons Fuel and Baxter Boots.”
