Gannawarra Shire to commence infrastructure repairs

Mayor Charlie Gillingham said the shire was significantly impacted by the floods, having experienced major flooding of the Avoca, Loddon and Murray rivers, as well as other tributaries.

“Preliminary costs to repair council-managed infrastructure has been estimated to cost up to $50 million,” Mr Gillingham said.

“By appointing these nine contractors, works will soon commence to repair our road network to a pre-flood standard.”
