Those visiting the Shepparton Library on Wednesday, July 10, enjoyed a session where they designed their very own wooden animal magnets to keep and take home.
Concentrating closely, the kids painted the shapes of animals in an array of colours, bringing to life a selection of rainbow serpents and colourful mammals.
The News photographer Rechelle Zammit went along.
Siblings Hamna Zafar, 6, Muhammad Haris, 10, and Muhammad Umar, 8, show off their creations, including an impressive emu, kangaroo and lizard.
