The supermarket has been open for only the past two years and has managed to survive despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is one of only two supermarkets in Tatura, which has a population of about 5000.
Mr Bramley, who brought 35 years of retail experience to Tatura FoodWorks, said the award was a great team achievement, gained in a short period of time, and it was down to dedicated customer service.
Mr Bramley paid tribute to the hard work of staff members, who made winning the award possible, and the Tatura community.
“We would like to thank our local community for supporting us,” Mr Bramley said.
As for what lies ahead for FoodWorks Tatura, Mr Bramley said the dedication of staff to the local community would carry on unchanged.
Foodworks Tatura is open seven days a week and provides fresh food and goods to residents of the town and the surrounding areas. It boasts an on-site butcher as well as the ability to source fresh fish.
