Greater Shepparton City Council is reminding residents that consultation for the review of its asset plan will close at midnight on Friday, March 21.
Council owns and manages nearly $2 billion of assets and over 100 services. Ratepayers’ money goes into providing the services and facilities the community requires.
Transport, open spaces, buildings and storm water make up the four main infrastructure assets groups.
Council director of infrastructure Gary Randhawa urged the community to take this final opportunity to contribute.
“This is your chance to have a say on how council manages assets that impact your daily life. We want to know what is important to you and what should be prioritised,” Mr Randhawa said.
“Our community relies on these assets every day, whether it is the roads we drive on, the parks we enjoy, or the facilities we use.”
On June 27, the updated asset management plan and an engagement report will be published on council’s website.
Feedback can be submitted online at shepp.city/assetplan until midnight on Friday, March 21.
Hard copy surveys are also available at council’s customer service counter at 90 Welsford St, Shepparton.
